Realme 11 Pro+: Finally, yet importantly, the brand is continuously moving at full steam, with the recent Realme 11 Pro+ designed to carve a niche in the premium midrange sector, thanks to a mix of audacious hardware propositions and polished design experiences for that tech enthusiast who wants flagship excel for not quite a flagship amount.

Design Aesthetics

On the design front, the Realme 11 Pro+ immediately turns heads with its unique rear panel, especially so in the Sunrise Beige colour – in the vegan leather finish co-designed with former Gucci designer Matteo Menotto – that we reviewed.

The textured finish not only looks great, but offers extra grip, and the circular camera module partially surrounded by concentric rings makes a stylish highlight.

The PhonePad 3 is not too heavy, just 8.7mm in thickness and around 189 grams in weight, a middle ground between screen size and ergonomics. Generous curves on the front and back panels give the phone a premium feel that defies its midrange category.

Display Excellence

The 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panel (2412 x 1080 resolution) is bright, colorful and offers deep blacks, bringing plenty of oomph for your viewing experience.

The device features a 120Hz refresh rate (for smooth scrolling and animations) and 360Hz touch sampling rate (for responsive touch input). The panel is very bright at 950 nits, so it’s easy to see it outdoors in full sunlight.

The slight arc of the display virtually disappears along the side without not only looking good, but making it more comfortable to hold, so you can immerse yourself longer in your favorite games, TV shows and movies, The HDR10+ certification helps make your content look even better by offering better dynamic range as well.

Imaging Prowess

Photography is the Realme 11 Pro+’s particular strong suit, spearheaded by a flagship-level 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor that features OIS.

This amazing hardware allows the camera to take detailed shots in any lighting, with the pixel binning technology ensuring better low light performance by combining pixels.

The main sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens (112 degrees field-of-view) and a 2MP macro lens for macro photography. The 32MP front camera offers clear selfies with realistic skin tones, while also capturing high dynamic range imagery.

Performance Hardware

The Realme 11 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor based on the 6nm process, with 12GB RAM, 256GB storage (expandable by virtual RAM technology), which all add up to smooth performance for everyday use and even casual gaming.

The platform doesn’t score as high as flagship processors on benchmarks, but it can multitask, run everyday apps and games without an ounce of slowdown.

The smartphone comes with Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13, which offers a plethora of customization options as well as a number of useful features, but the interface has some bloatware that you might find unnecessary.

Battery and Charging

All day battery life with up to 5000mAh of power. The real star of the show though is Realme’s 100W SUPERVOOC charging, which can recharge the phone from zero to a hundred in around 27 minutes – that’s a game-changer in practicality for most users, and a proper differentiator at this price point.

Pros:

Great Its main camera is excellent and uses a 200MP sensor

Fine brushed glass with superior texture Premium glass finish Available in Human Grade Vegan Leather* *Vegan Leather not available on all models.

120Hz refresh rate for buttery smooth scrolling and a highly responsive display

World leading industry first 100W fast charge technology

Excellent battery endurance

Plenty of connectivity options including 5G

Cons:

Secondary cameras are far less capable than primary sensor

No IP rating for water resistance

Realme UI comes with certain bloatwares

No wireless charging support

Guaranteed software updates for limited period of time

Decent gaming performance but not the best in class

Not all users are going to like the curved display

Realme 11 Pro+: Verdict

The Realme 11 Pro+ looks to have managed to become a niche device that places special emphasis on photography as well as charging speeds while also not compromising in terms of the design.

Through this, Realme has made a midrange device that excels with genuinely standout features that actually makes daily use better instead of just trying to be everything to everyone.

Although it does make its necessary share of compromises in performance and second-camera capability, the completed package offers a great deal to the user who cares about design, photography and battery convenience.

If you’re a user who wants camera chops that are only found in much pricier devices, the Realme 11 Pro+ is an excellent choice that punches well above its price class where it counts.
