Realme P2 Pro

Realme P2 Pro: The mid-range smartphone segment is as competitive as ever and Realme looks to have figured it out yet again.

Realme P2 Pro With the Realme P2 Pro, the firm introduces a phone that comes with a healthy serving of style, performance and usefulness, guaranteed to grab plenty of attention.

It’s one of the few phones you so rarely encounter — one that feels like quality, without making you feel guilty for spending big.

So does the P2 Pro live up to the hype, or is it just another pretty face in the crowd? Let’s dive into the details.

Design: Elegant Yet Familiar

Turn the device over, and that’s where the Realme DNA is immediately apparent: slim curves, super-slim bezels and a glossy back that reflects the light well.

Its glass back and slightly trim profile make it feel significantly more premium than its price point would imply.

It comes in a few attention-grabbing hues such as Sky Blue and Midnight Black that look classy without drawing too much attention.

It’s got a sturdy in-hand feel, and is light enough to comfortably use with a single hand. It’s the sort of phone that looks like it costs more.

Display: Visual Delight

On of the P2 Pro’s main draws is its 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.

Whether enjoying my favourite programmes via a binge-watch session or scrolling through my Instagram feed, this screen is a complete joy.

The colors are popping, blacks are deep, and everything feels buttery with that smooth refresh rate. And at least the brightness is good, and it’s outdoor-readable, holding up well even under bright, Harsh sunlight.

Battery: Needs Some Advice on Prioritizing Its Questions, But Keep the Reflexes.

On the inside, the Realme P2 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, along with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space.

And for the mundane activities — switching between apps, playing casual games or making calls — it gets things done without breaking a sweat.

Games like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile work fine on medium to high settings.

It’s not a hardcore gaming phone, but for most users, performance is more than adequate. And, even better, Realme UI is optimized and feels nice and snappy.

Camera: Good for the Gram

On the back side the P2 Pro features a 64MP primary shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie snapper.

The primary sensor is no slouch in the daylight, it even clicks detailed shots with good colours and decent dynamic range.

Low-light performance is passable, especially with the dedicated night mode making up for some slack.

The selfie shooter, too, is dependable, if not a tad softening, but it ensures Instagrammable results more often than it does not.

Battery & Charging: Good Combo Oftentimes, you’ll find that a phone has good battery life, but slow charging, or vice-versa.

The P2 Pro is such a breeze to use throughout the day, rock a 5,000mAh beast of a battery and it comfortably lasts a day on moderate to heavy usage. Streaming, gaming, video calls — all good.

A 67W fast charge back to 100% takes roughly 45 minutes, by the way, so if you find yourself running low, you won’t have to wait long to top it up.

“No wonder they’ve been wearing them for years!” I think to myself as I breeze from floor to floor, no longer slowed down by shoes I can’t wait to take off. This isn’t just convenient—it’s a game-changer in daily life.

Realme P2 Pro: Final Verdict: A Mid-Range Marvel

And the Realme P2 Pro finds a very good balance around that, where it looks high-end and runs slickly but does not clear out your wallet.

It’s not perfect, but for what you’re getting at this price, the V20 is all-around very good and right in most of the right ways.

If you’re in the market for a stylish mid-ranger that doesn’t skimp out on the basics, then the P2 Pro should definitely make it onto your shortlist.
